Twins Conversation Inside The Womb

21 Jan

You don’t need to see things to believe them. If someone slapped you right in your face, you will feel the pain. But can you see it? No, you can’t see the pain. But the pain is there, right?

Let us see in a different point of view.

Hey brother! Do you think there’s a life after death? Do you believe in God?

Nah, I don’t believe these things, I’m an atheist. I mean have you ever seen God?

So, think about it!

p/s: Make sure you are in the right path! THE RIGHT PATH. If you’re not sure, then search for it!  ;)

leave your craptastic Religion in your hearts and your bibles. and I’ll keep my anti-god ways from you. Pain is a Physical reaction to being slapped, it’s a series of Nerves being aggravated by an outside source. it’s inside your body. and thus you can’t see the electrical impulses sent by your nerves to your brain saying that you’re being hurt. also, if babies were coherent inside the womb, and able to have conversations like that. we’d have more smart people among the populace of the world. as it is we have religious morons who seem to think that they need to shove their god loving ways down the rest of our throats, like some rapist shoving his *COUGH* down a girls throat. it’s not wanted, so stop giving it. Call it Religious Rape.

Hiii! :D Thank you for the comment. I was actually trying to use a metaphor, you know. The pain I mean. Didn’t know it turned out bad to you LOL. I really need to brush up on that! XD

I have one thing to say though, if there’s a salesman, who comes to your house knocking on your door to sell his company’s product, and you really don’t want to buy what he’s selling, but he keeps on promoting the product, I don’t think you’d call that a Business Rape. He’s just doing his job. His boss wanted him to sell it, so he sells it in order to get his pay. As for me, I also have a ‘boss’ and my ‘boss’ tells me to only tell people about my religion, so I do it in order to get my ‘pay’. Yes, I’m poor and I’m in need of that ‘pay’. But of course, my ‘boss’ didn’t tell me to force people into my religion.

Gosh, I just used a metaphor again! But, that’s the only way I can explain it to you. I hope it’s understandable and simple. Oh yeah, and about the photo of the twins inside the womb and the caption below it, it wasn’t me who made it. It’s from Facebook. But I think the person who made the caption just wanted to make a message and it depends on people to interpret it. Just like other photos with caption in it, like in 9gag for example. There’s a lot of photos with caption that aren’t even logic for the photos.

p/s: I’m sorry if you were searching medical things about the womb but you found this instead. And I’m sorry if what I just wrote makes you want to throw up. And I didn’t mean any sarcasm in that. Peace out!

You made your point with an example that makes no sense, furthermore, you show you have no understanding of basic principles of physiology….

    • almostawesome January 22, 2012 at 11:18 pm #

Hello there! Thank you for the honest comment you made. You made me revised and looked back what I’ve learnt about pain last year. I hope I’m not going to be a bad doctor for making this post. Just like what I’ve commented above, I was not the one who edit this photo and made the caption. It was from Facebook. And about the example, if it makes no sense to you, would you mind to share with me, what comes to your mind when you first saw the photo, an example from you might be good.

      • Savvy January 23, 2012 at 6:04 am #

I despise Religion, that’s the only reason i made the reply to that. I was also explaining pain as i understood it. I’m no doctor. but I do believe that Science is correct, not the church. and M, unless you’re a doctor, or a med student, don’t tell me whether I’m right or wrong, thanks. =P

      • almostawesome January 23, 2012 at 11:25 am #

Hello again Savvy :) I think M wasn’t referring to you. He/she tried to correct me, I guess. I don’t mean to offend the church or the christians but since you don’t think the church is correct, I don’t think this will offend you. In my opinion, just like yours, the church is not correct. From what I’ve heard and from the debates I’ve watched on YouTube, there are many contradictions in the bible and it is said that it has been changed and corrupted over time!

And just like you, I do believe in science. (Please don’t continue to read if you don’t want to) In fact, there is one book that had exists many centuries ago, it has a lot of scientific miracles in it but the miraculous things have only been discovered with the technology of the 20th century. Of course it’s not a book of science, but there are many scientific things in it that are expressed in a very profound manner. And the book is what I’m reading not only on Sundays. It’s nice talking to you :) I mean chatting. Chatting? Conversing? Discussing? :D

You might want to look up the straw man fallacy, because that’s one of them. Essentially you’re not adressing atheim (a lack of belief in a god), but ‘a-momism’ (a lack of belief in a mother) ;)

    • almostawesome January 23, 2012 at 11:43 am #

Straw man fallacy..interesting. But it’s so philosophical that I didn’t really get the whole idea. I’ll do a lot more Googling on that.
And A-MOMISM?! LOL I’ve never heard of that!

  4. miguelsosa January 23, 2012 at 9:24 pm #

the analogy is invalid because they are unable to makes scientific studies and experiments.

that analogy is about as good as this one:
    baby1: can you drive?
    baby2: of course not
baby3: therefore NO ONE CAN DRIVE!
    Shocking isn’t it?

    • almostawesome January 23, 2012 at 11:38 pm #

      Hi there :)

Please explain further on what you’re trying to say, because I don’t really understand it.

p/s: have a look at all the comments I’ve made above and especially below. Looking forward to seeing your reply!

      • miguelsosa January 24, 2012 at 6:50 am #

Okay, we all know that the babies cannot know about there mom until they are born. the picture is trying to say that just because they can’t know about mom, doesn’t mean she is not real, and therefore comparing it to atheists. the difference however is that a baby can’t use science. if the babies could they could see their DNA is composed of 2 combined genetic samples. Mom and Dad. We humans adult people can test our world and it has no evidence of a creator. even in the womb evidence of mother can be found. but not one can be found of god. the analogy is invalid.

      • almostawesome January 24, 2012 at 8:47 am #

Ohhh, now I get what you’re trying to say. Thanks for explaining! My answer would be: It’s just an analogy. Simple as it is said. As for us Muslims, the proof of a creator is everywhere. My being is one proof. The Quran is another, and it is not corrupted. Of course these are all up to you to believe or not :)

Have a look at the reply I made below and do have a look at my two latest post Stages of Human Development and also Atheist’s Search for God since they are all very well related to what we’re discussing. There’s no harm reading, right?

p/s: I’m glad that you replied.

There is a big difference though, unborn babies are not threatened with eternal life in hell if they didn’t believe in moms!

religion doesn’t make any sense.. if god is so great, why does he need to burn the people who don’t believe in him? especially since he haven’t given us any proof that he exists.

    • almostawesome January 23, 2012 at 11:34 pm #

Hello! :) I do know there’s a huge difference between the two situations. I respect you for being very conscientious and thorough. And, I do believe that you are smart and perceptive enough to realise that the matter of the unborn babies were not what my main subject. I guess, it being an example is too frail that it caused some dispute from people.

About your question, well, it’s a tough one for me to answer you know, since I’m no scholar in my religion. But I do have an analogy. I hope this one will not be as frail as the unborn babies. My analogy is, lets say you built a robot and it came to life. So in a way, you are its master. Unfortunately, it won’t obey your order and it won’t accept the fact that you’re its master because there is no proof. Then you decided to dismantle the robot. I think it’s a fair play.

And about your statement that God hasn’t given any proof, I do believe that my being is one of the proofs. The universe, the earth and the nature are all proofs of God’s existence.

I have three things that I want to show you since I am not a scholar in my religion. Just THREE THINGS:

      1) If you like, search Khaled Yasin, Nouman Ali Khan, Yusuf Estes, Tariq Ramadan or Zakir Naik on YouTube. Watch their debates, think and reflect.
      2) Have a look at my two latest post (Stages of Human Development) and click on the links I’ve put there and also Atheist’s Search for God.
      3) There’s a verse from the Book I believe that I really like (it’s up to you to like it or hate it)

“Do you not see that Allah has made subject to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth and amply bestowed upon you His favors, [both] apparent and unapparent? But of the people is he who disputes about Allah without knowledge or guidance or an enlightening Book [from Him].”

and for that I rest my case. May you have a peaceful life :)

There are a few things that you neglected to look at when you replied to this. The first one, that EVERY atheist has looked over is that this is a simple ANALOGY. Analogies will never be able to perfectly depict a situation because every situation is unique.

A second thing is that God does not condemn you to punishment for not acknowledging him. To use an ANALOGY, it is more like you going through school and a ‘friend’ is telling you not to study or work hard for a good future. He instead tells you to tae it easy and enjoy your life now by doing anything you want to, even if that is something obviously harmful, such as drugs. You then come to the end of your schooling and only then realize that you can’t get any work, even though people have been practically screaming at you to work harder while you were in school. It is not the employer’s fault that you didn’t work hard enough, but your actions, even when you knew better, resulted in you being unemployed.

In that analogy, school would be representing your life, and after school would be after death. The ‘friend’ would be the devil and the employer would be God. Please just take this as an analogy, I know that people can get a job without good grades, but that isn’t the point of what I said. Don’t try to nit-pick when someone is giving you an analogy for something that will never be able to be perfectly explained.

That comment was in reply to ‘Godless’.

        Great analogy!!

Hello and God bless, I understand your intention and keep speading the word of God. After reading some of the comments I really didn’t know so many people felt that way about God. But that their (GOD) giving right and we can only pray that someday, God reach out and touch them as God has touch us..

A seed has been planted in every single person that read and/or may have commented on this post. It got them thinking. Glory to God :)

I am so glad that facebook developed this analogy, I thought the metaphor was right on target. Just because we do not see God doesn’t mean he doesn’t exist. It’s called “Faith.” I never met my grandfather but I believe he existed, for example. Whether or not you have a religious belief is one of the many freedoms that we have. If you do not believe that is okay but I wont be in hell to tell you that “I told you so.” The person who shared this beautiful example isn’t pushing his or her religion but instead they are sharing someone else’s photo with a caption. Be kind to others no matter what your belief. Thank you for doing God’s work, I also am employed and awaiting my ‘pay’!
