In the last 3 posts, I mentioned that I had an exam on that day for Pathophysiology. The total questions was 20 and the passing mark was 11. I thought the questions were pretty tough and I didn’t get the chance to browse through all the past year questions that I had with me. Well, it’s not like I didn’t have the time or anything, but I think I kind of wasted it with things that are not important like window-shopping, watching free online movies, reading non-academical books and so on. Well I’m not saying that reading those books are unimportant but maybe it was not that urgent. I could actually read it during my summer break.
But when I think about it again, I guess it was worth it because I don’t want to spend the rest of my medical-student-years just facing medical books days and nights and by that, neglecting other things that I might not have the chance to engage in when I have started working especially in the two-housemen-years.
Wow, look at how I’ve just babbled from one thing to another. Anyways, about the exam, I passed it, Alhamdulillah. There were two person who got 16/20 and one of them was me. I was surprised. Really. Because I don’t think I studied enough. Getting that result didn’t make me feel as satisfied as I am when I get good result after putting so much effort for it. I somehow feel a little bit worried. Yeah, I’m weird. Ok, enough about all these serious talks.
On last Sunday, I went to Warsaw Book Fair. There were still many people even though it was the final day for that event. It started on Thursday. It was raining (but not heavily) when I reached Palace of Culture & Science. I paid the reduced entrance fee for 5 zlotty on account that I’m a student, and entered the book fair. So many booths, but unfortunately for me, they are practically all selling Polish books except for two, American Bookstore booth and there’s this one Turkish booth named Sozler Publications.
I bought 3 books, Catching Fire, Mocking Jay and Terry Pratchet’s The Unseen Academicals. I also bought this colourful magnetic bookmarks for 4.50 zlotty and I bought a book from the Turkish booth titled The Miracles of Muhammad and received The World Is Reading Risale-i Nur for free.
My first Terry Pratchet’s (lame, I know)
They are pretty useful and practical too!
Said Nursi’s
After the book fair, I went to Arkadia to buy the ink for the printer and to watch the Art Battles 2012 held there from 12-26 May 2012. It turned out that Saturn ran out of my printer’s ink and I bought a red Sony headphone which I have been eyeing for it since last year! Since I don’t have the plugin to make multiple photo galleries per post, I will upload the photos I took during the art battle in the next post. This irritates me a lot. Not being able to have multiple galleries, I mean.
Here’s the link to the next post with the photos.

Wow that was great, congrats. I want those magnetic text finder pls.
Thanks, rezeki je tu
