EURO is finally here!! And Poland welcomes you!
While most of the people in Warsaw are enjoying the EURO 2012 celebration, I am stuck in my room, facing Pathomorph books. It’s the greatest experience ever. Totally.
Yesterday was the opening for the Fan Zones in many places in Poland. Warsaw’s is the largest, measuring up to 147m2! I have planned with my friends to go there when the exams are over. I have 3 more exams to go; Pathomorph, Polish and Microbe. The Fan Zones are open till early July so I hope I will get the chance!

Warsaw Fan Zone at night. I bet Taio Cruz was one of the thousands of people there. But of course he must be backstage. (I guess)
Oh yeah, Taio Cruz was one of the artists who performed at the Warsaw Fan Zone yesterday. Here are the photos of the Fan Zone before the opening.

At 10 am this morning, I went to Stadion Polonii (Polonia Stadium) with a friend to collect the free tickets to watch the Polish National team during their training session tomorrow. The stadium is only within walking distance from my current apartment
Stadion Polonii and Hyatt Regency Hotel are made as the base camp for the Polish National Team.
You can check out your favourite team base camps here. My friends who are in Krakow are so lucky to be only a few feet away from the English Team. They even recorded some videos!
I was frustrated to find out that the tickets are all given out
I was told by the security guard to come at 7am next Tuesday to collect the tickets for Wednesday’s training session. Yupp, the tickets can only be collected on the days preceding the training session from 9am to 4pm and yet, at 10am today the tickets are all..gone. When I was there, there are some guys who also look frustrated, I’m pretty sure they had the same luck as mine.
One more thing, this is not regarding EURO 2012 though. AWOLNATION performed in Warsaw last Sunday! They are still on tour around Europe.

So, at 6pm today, there will be the first EURO 2012 match and it will be held in the Warsaw National Stadium and the match will be between Poland against Greece. I’m on Team Poland of course!
I’ve checked the price for the EURO match tickets last time and they are..my God…SO..EXPENSIVE! My friend bought 2 tickets for himself and his brother who will be coming from Russia and it costs them about 2000 zlotty which is about RM2000! They are one hell of a hardcore-football-fans!
I will be at the grandstand in the Fan Zone watching the match from a big screen. That’s good enough for me

My housemates and I, the background is the Warsaw National Stadium. It’s so pretteyh I’m gonna die!
