“And those who, when the have committed Fahishah (shameless acts) or wronged themselves with evil, remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their sins – and none can forgive sins but Allah  - and do not persist in what (wrong) they have done while they know.”  Quran [3:135]

Today you woke up and washed yourself, one day you will be washed. Today you prayed, one day you’ll be prayed on. Today you walk and choose where to go, one day they will say: “Take him/her to the grave”. Today you dressed yourself, one day you will be dressed with a single white sheet. Today you are walking on the earth, one day the earth will cover you. For some people their day was yesterday, for others it will be today, for us it will be sooner or later. This is such an important message for all of us. I hope we can take heed of it. Join us to say Ameen!

Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, gives mercy to those who we never expect would enter paradise. It is not our place to assume who amongst us will be accepted by Allah and who amongst us will not…

It has been narrated on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Two men will enter Paradise, one of them kills the other.
They said: Messenger of Allah, how is it so?
He said: One of them fights in the way of Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, and dies a martyr. Then God turns in mercy to the murderer who embraces Islam, fights in the way of Allah, the Almighty and Exalted, and dies a martyr.

(yang kalian megah-megahkan di dunia itu). “

“Dan, jika kamu (Muhammad) melihat ketika mereka dihadapkan ke neraka,
lalu mereka berkata,

sekiranya kami dikembalikan (ke dunia), tentu kami tidak akan mendustakan ayat-ayat tuhan kami, serta menjadi orang-orang yang beriman’,

(tentulah kamu melihat suatu peristiwa yang mengharukan). Tetapi (sebenarnya) telah nyata bagi mereka kejahatan yang mereka dahulu selalu menyembunyikannya.

Sekiranya mereka dikembalikan ke dunia, tentulah mereka kembali kepada apa yang mereka telah dilarang mengerjakannya. “

Dan bagi orang-orang yang kufur ingkar terhadap Tuhan mereka,
disediakan azab neraka Jahannam, dan itulah seburuk-buruk tempat kembali.

Apabila mereka dicampakkan ke dalamnya, mereka mendengar suara jeritannya meraung-raung, sedang ia menggelegak.

Hampir-hampir ia pecah berkecai-kecai kerana kuat marahnya. Tiap-tiap kali dicampakkan ke dalamnya sekumpulan besar (dari orang kafir), bertanyalah penjaga-penjaga neraka itu kepada mereka:

“APAKAH BELUM PERNAH ADA ORANG YANG DATANG MEMBERI PERINGATAN KEPADAMU (DIDUNIA) ?”

Dan mereka berkata: “Kalaulah kami dahulu mendengar dan memahami (sebagai orang yang mencari kebenaran), tentulah kami tidak termasuk dalam kalangan ahli neraka”.

Akhirnya mereka mengakui dosa-dosa mereka (sebagai orang-orang yang kufur ingkar), maka tetaplah jauhnya rahmat Allah dari ahli neraka

(Al Mulk: 6-11)

 

 

6 Keys To A Great Relationship

All of these are status updates from Eway To Quran Facebook page. They are all interrelated so I might as well group them together here

 

There are six keys to a GREAT relationship:

1-Friendship: Try to be your spouse best friend. No matter what happens, be a friend first, and a lover later.

2-Trust: The key element to any relationship is trust, so before starting this beautiful journey with your spouse, learn to trust in all circumstances.

3-Understanding : Try to figure out each other and work out on our differences. There are going to be many differences, but it’s mutual compromise and sacrifice which makes this relationship beautiful.

4-Communication : Try to talk and convey your message to your spouse. Let your spouse know about how good/ bad your day was along with remind them how you feel for them.

5-Honesty: Always speak the truth, never lie or hide things in fear that your spouse won’t understand. Give your spouse a chance to understand you.

6-Freedom: Give your spouse space and freedom to decide for themselves. Don’t take away the personal time of your spouse.
When you have practiced all of the above, then trust Allah and you will see how beautiful life gets.

 

 

Stop comparing your spouse to others

• If your wife has no green colored eyes like that of your friend’s wife, so what?

• If your husband has no car like your neighbor, so what?

If these “lacking” make you unhappy, so why did you choose to marry him/her?

By comparing your spouse to others, you will only get frustrated for what you don’t have. And frustration will make you a negative person. And a negative person can only destroy relationship.

 

 

The one who actually loves you will never use or abuse you, but protect you from those who will try to use or abuse you. May Allah grant us all a spouse who will love us unconditionally! Ameen!

Ada satu pelajaran indah dari Rasulullah SAW. Pelajaran ini telah mengusik pintu hati saya tentang kehidupan saya. Saya amat memerlukan pelajaran luarbiasa ini, apatah lagi ianya dari Rasulullah SAW.

Satu saat di tengah perjalanan mengharungi padang pasir, Rasulullah SAW bersama para sahabat berhenti sejenak.

“Cari dan kumpulkan ranting-ranting kayu.” Kata Rasulullah SAW.

Para sahabat hairan, bagaimana mengumpulkan ranting di padang pasir ini? “Kalau mencari ranting di sini , tentu tidak ada, yang Rasul.” Sahut sahabat.

“Cari dan kumpulkan ranting kayu!” kata Rasulullah SAW lagi.

“Bagaimana akan kita kumpulkan ranting di padang pasir ini? Padahal pohon kayu pun tidak ada yang tumbuh di sini?”

“Carilah dan kumpulkan ranting kayu.” Kata Rasulullah SAW lagi.

Para sahabat pun mengais-ngais pasir ke sana kemari. Ada satu dua ditemukan dan dikumpulkan. Nampaknya angin menerbangkan ranting-ranting dari tempat yang jauh. Setelah beberapa waktu ternyata semakin banyak ranting kayu yang dapat dikumpulkan. Tidak disangka.

“Wahai sahabat, berkumpullah kemari.” Rasulullah memanggil.

Para sahabat pun menyambutnya dan mendengarkan pesanan yang akan disampaikan Baginda SAW dengan penuh perhatian.

“Seperti inilah dosa-dosamu setiap hari. Sepertinya terlihat tidak ada, sedangkan kelak di hadapan Allah SWT ternyata terkumpul banyak.”

Pelajaran dari Rasulullah SAW ini menghenyak jiwa dan perasaan saya. Bagaimana dengan anda wahai para pemuda umat?
